Evince is currently looking for a Junior Search Engine Optimisation Specialist to join our small but perfectly formed agency in Guildford, Surrey. The current availability is for a motivated person with some experience (however limited) in Web Marketing & Search Engine Optimisation. But most importantly the sucessful candidate will need to evince interest, knowledge & passion in the subject.
We work with a lot of diverse clients ranging from very large to very small. The experience that the successful applicant will gain is not to be understated. The successful applicant has a great opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of web marketing practices in our holistic / full stack agency.
Initially the role is to provide assistance to a senior specialist providing SEO to our client’s websites. As training and experience is gained, the role would evolve into managing the client accounts independently with managerial oversight to target KPIs. We use various tools & methodologies, for which training can be provided.
The successful applicant will also need to liaise with our web development team to implement technical SEO to the websites we manage.
The world of SEO is a constantly moving arena, as such an aspect of this role is to proactively research and to test / experiment the new strategies. The successful candidate will be expected to independently contribute with new ideas & methodologies.

The Job:
- Optimise sites for SEO using various tools and methodologies
- Proactively research new SEO strategies
- Liaise with our Web Developers to implement SEO fixes
- Write an SEO audit report & plan of action for our clients websites
- Work to targeted SEO KPIs set by the management & clients
- Liaise with clients to understand their Web Marketing needs and to provide KPI reports
The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
